Paul’s primary focus as Interim CEO is to lead the search for the next Chief Executive Officer with executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles and steer the company through the change of leadership.

A results-driven C-suite executive with an extensive track record leading premier companies, building brands, developing and leading teams, creating and executing strategy, maximizing profit, and generating revenue across digital, television, print and audio media.

Most recently Caine served as Non-Executive Chairman of Tremor Video. Previously, he held the position of Global Chief Revenue and Client Partnerships Officer of Bloomberg Media Group, Bloomberg L.P.’s global multi-platform media organization that comprises web, mobile, television, digital video, radio, print magazines and live events platforms. In his role, Caine oversaw the global sales, marketing and ad operations teams. Under his leadership, Bloomberg media realized 11% global revenue growth with a notable +15% digital, +15% in global TV, +40% in US TV and +30% in radio. In addition, Caine’s team garnered 45 industry awards, tripled event revenue, and grew sales revenue in every region.

Prior to Bloomberg, Caine was CEO of WestwoodOne, the largest independent national audio media company in North America. He was recruited by Private Equity sponsors as a change agent to oversee all business functions and serve on the Board of Directors. In nine months, Caine successfully rebranded the company from Dial Global Inc., transformed its terrestrial radio advertising offering with a suite of digital products, and negotiated and closed the acquisition of the Company to Cumulus Media Inc. for $260 million.

Prior to venturing into audio media, Caine served as EVP, Chief Revenue Officer and Group President of Time Inc. where he oversaw the company’s multi-media advertising sales and marketing efforts. Caine’s responsibilities also included oversight of Time Inc. Branded Solutions, Research and Insights, Time Inc. Content Solutions, MNI, and Targeted Media. He previously served as President and Group Publisher of the Style & Entertainment Group including six category-leading brands:People,InStyle,Entertainment Weekly, People StyleWatch, EssenceandPeople en Español. He also served as Publisher ofPeople,Entertainment WeeklyandTeen People. Prior to joining Time Inc., Caine worked at USA Today and J. Walter Thompson.

A longtime music fan, Caine is a partner and advisor to the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, which provides a fan experience performing with A-list rock stars including Roger Daltry, Steven Tyler and Gene Simmons. Caine also served on the board of MusiCares from 2009-2013, including two years as Chairman.

In addition to his professional work, Caine is dedicated to a variety of philanthropic causes. In 2007, he and his wife started Griffin’s Giving Fund at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (in memory of their son, Griffin Matthew) to provide support to families faced with the illness or loss of a child. Caine is also currently on the charitable board of the John A. Reisenbach Foundation.

A graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Communications, Caine lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.
